For the last 20 years he served as an independent business consultant. Lawrence followed the local Utah sport teams. He enjoyed many rounds of golf with his family. He was an avid reader of the scriptures and followed current events. He stressed education and was an excellent teacher. He spent a lot of time enjoying his roses and writing poetry.
